Fujitsu has added new three-phase power supply air conditioners
to its wall-mounted and ceiling-mounted ranges.
There are two models in the wall-mounted range, the ASY30A(3) providing
8.2kW of cooling and the ASY30R(3), the reverse heat pump version
supplying 8.0kW of cooling and 8.8kW of heating. In the ceiling-mounted
range are the ABY54A(3) with 14.6kW of cooling and the ABY54R(3)
reverse heat pump model providing 14.6kW of cooling and 15.8kW of
heating. Plus Fujitsu has added the single-phase ABY30A (8.8kW of
cooling) and the ABY30R (8.8kW of cooling and 9.1kW of heating).
These additions mean that the customer now has a total of 19 models
in the wall-mounted range to choose from and eight ceiling-mounted
units.
Renowned for its modern, compact styling, the larger wall unit measures
a neat 1250mm wide by 320mm high by 195mm deep, with the ceiling-mounted
units at 1660mm wide by 240mm high by 700mm deep. New features on
the ceiling-mounted models include a fresh air intake facility together
with a standard gravity condensate drain or the option of the Fujitsu
pumped system allowing the installer the flexibility of an alternative
piping route.
Conditioned air is evenly distributed throughout the room via the
unit's double (horizontal and vertical) airflow pattern, which automatically
adjusts to match changes in room temperature. Similarly, the airflow
volume is also regulated for maximum occupancy comfort via the unit's
on-board microprocessor intelligence.
On reaching setpoint the Energy Save routine allows the room temperature
to rise by two degrees in the cooling mode and fall four degrees
when in the heating mode, at a rate of one degree per hour. The
result is valuable energy savings without the occupants experiencing
a marked change in room temperature.
The reverse heat pump models have Auto-Changeover as standard, which
allows the unit to automatically switch between the heating and
cooling modes in order to maintain the pre-programmed temperature
setting.
